Where it was overgrown, laid the lawn and opened the canopy. Pruned the trees, cut the shrubs back, barked areas to make a wildlife tunnel with logs cut like stepping stones through the fuschia.
At the start of the project, the whole garden was completely overgrown but has been transformed into a beautiful and functional space. The back of the garden was most neglected so J.K Conservation Projects laid a new lawn, opened the canopy, pruned the trees, cut the shrubs back and created a cleverly constructed archway through the fuschia and buddleia. Combining the archway with barked areas makes a wildlife tunnel, complemented nicely by the logs cut like stepping stones.
Further interest was added to the garden by: potting up striking perennials in the barked spaces, planting bulbs on one side of the small rockery, creating a mini stone raised bed for herbs, planting fruit bushes around the back of the garden for prolonged summer fruits.
